The body and the mind are inextricably connected, each time we have a thought we set off a cascade of cellular reactions in our nervous system which influence all the molecules in our body. Our cells are constantly observing our thoughts and, therefore, being changed by them...
...Tune in to your body, understand your mind, and the cause and effects between them. "Each emotion has a chemical correlation within the body" - Dr. Gabor Mate
Value yourself enough to take charge of your choices and provide nourishment for your body, reset your mind, and fulfill your soul.
Yoga Alliance & Pre-Natal Yoga Instructor, Mindfulness & Meditation Instructor
Through life’s journey so far, I have come to realise a connection to those around me, in bringing support, encouragement and techniques to help us take control of both our mind and body - and empower us to connect the two.
"Health is a state of complete harmony of the body, mind and spirit. When one is free from physical disabilities and mental distractions, the gates of the soul open." B.K.S. Iyengar
Starting off with a physical connection and focus, taking my body to the physical limits, however leaving my mind to fend for itself, I came to learn that a balance was required, as the mental strength and dedication required to push my body to the limits was achieved through this process, however the recuperation and mental downtime was not. When my body started to show the physical signs of stress, through severe allergic reaction symptoms, I started to listen and take note of my own internal environment and to understand the value of homeostasis, or balance, for both the body and the mind.
After 10 years travelling the world, living and working with different cultures, I have grown to realise where our focus is amiss for our ideas of a "successful" life. Rather than running ourselves ragged to achieve status in our careers, or society, and leave our minds on the wayside without a second thought for our own personal wellbeing, or to work ourselves to the point of zero-productivity and to the detriment of our health. It's about acknowledging our own inner needs and identifying with them on a daily basis. Even if we take just 10 minutes each day to stop, be present in the moment and get to know our authentic self, removing the busyness from our minds for those minutes and focus on listening to our own inner voice.
Each of my focuses here within OHM Mind Body are towards empowering each of us to take control of our own lives and discover the true beauty of life itself, to create an inner journey towards peace and contentment each and every day.

Completing my Yoga Teaching Certification in Rishikesh, India, opened my eyes and mind to the depths of Yoga, from their original, spiritual source. Primarily studying Ashtanga Vinyasa, Hatha and the Eight Limbs of Yoga, my teaching style has developed from a disciplined, structured root, evolving into a blend for each unique class I teach, tailoring each class to suit those present.
Group sessions, half day/full day workshops and weekend courses are available. As well as individual one-on-one sessions and tailored corporate courses.
Including:
• Pranayama (Breathing exercises)
• Asanas (Physical postures)
• Relaxation (Guided Savasana)
• Meditation (Yoga Nidra)
My Yoga practice led me to a deeper understanding and appreciation of the marvel of the human body and all it can accomplish. I feel honoured to have studied Pregnancy Yoga qualifications under Uma Dinsmore-Tuli, author of “Yoni Shakti” and leader in teaching Yoga Nidra & Pregnancy Yoga & Women’s Yoga. Creating an immersive experience for our pre-natal women, creating a safe space to connect into the breath of mother and baby. Tailored with safe exercises to strengthen, both physically and mentally, whilst also learning breathing techniques which can be used throughout pregnancy, birth and post-natal.
Whether an individual, a group, or a business, I'm here to bring an outer perspective which can shift your entire internal environment.
From presenting yoga classes and guided meditation, to sharing values and concepts on life which make a difference to our perspective on each and every scenario we encounter throughout our daily life.
